About this opportunity
Bretagne Consulting LLC lists this Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Regenerative & Interventional Pain Management opportunity in rapid city, South Dakota. Review the employer’s description below for duties, qualifications and application requirements.
Job description
This is a recruiter posted position on behalf of the hiring practice. This is a clinically substantive PA role. You will carry a mixed panel of complex musculoskeletal and chronic pain patients, work directly alongside the physician owner on interventional procedures, and contribute meaningfully to treatment planning. The practice is intentionally sized to support thorough, relationship-based care rather than high-volume throughput.
For a PA-C looking to deepen an interventional skill set in a collaborative, physician-led setting rather than a corporate health system, this position offers direct access to complex cases and hands‑on procedural experience.
What Your Week Looks Like
Most of your time will be spent performing patient care and procedures at the Long Beach office, with occasional coverage at the Glendale satellite office and Encino office.
A typical day includes:
Interventional procedures
New patient consults and treatment planning in collaboration with the physician
EMR documentation in AdvancedMD
Case reviews and protocol discussions with the physician
Caseload includes personal injury and workers' compensation cases. Experience in this area is strongly preferred.
What We're Looking For
Active California PA-C license and current NCCPA certification
Minimum 1 year of recent, hands‑on pain management clinic experience
Working knowledge of interventional pain procedures
Familiarity with regenerative medicine preferred
Comfortable working independently and owning a patient panel
Genuine empathy for patients living with chronic pain, with the communication skills to explain complex treatment options clearly and without condescension
Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license
Bilingual English/Spanish is a meaningful plus
Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
401(k) and retirement plan options
Paid time off (PTO)
Malpractice coverage
