Physician Assistant | Family Practice Location: Buffalo, OK Employer: Curative Pay: $155,000 to $165,000 per year Start Date: ASAP About the Position Physician Assistant Opportunity in Buffalo, Oklahoma You'll step into a community-focused outpatient primary care role with the support of a small, collaborative team and a predictable clinic rhythm. This Physician Assistant opportunity also includes light ER call coverage, giving you variety without living in the hospital. Practice Overview You'll join a 3-provider team: 1 supervising physician and 2 PAs, with experienced nursing support Outpatient primary care across two clinics (Buffalo and a second site about 20 minutes away), plus ER call coverage at the main hospital Broad-spectrum primary care with space for in-office procedures; identical clinic setups with MAs, nurses, and front-office support Epic EMR; payor mix approximately 60% Medicare, 30% commercial, remainder Medicaid/self-pay Schedule Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; average ~14 patients/day Clinic split rotates between locations (typically 2 days at one site and 3 days at the other, alternating weeks) ER call only: typically 1-2 days/week and 1 weekend/month; schedule provided about 60 days in advance Built-in admin time: one day off every other week (can be taken from home) Compensation & Benefits $150,000 - $160,000 guaranteed salary (hospital-employed) with a 3-year commitment $5,000 Retention bonus after 12-months and another $5,000 after 24-months $10,000 Relocation assistance $75,000 HRSA loan forgiveness (non-taxed, paid directly to lender) plus $5,000 relocation (with receipts per IRS guidelines) Time off and CME: 160 hours discretionary time off; 5 CME days with $4,000 annual allowance Benefits include health/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, retirement options (457(b) and 401(a) match after year 1), malpractice with tail, and licensing/credentialing reimbursement Candidate Requirements Physician Assistant (NPs with acute care certification may also be considered) New grads and experienced clinicians welcome; structured onboarding with shadowing and progressive independence Comfortable managing outpatient primary care and participating in ER call coverage Current or ability to obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS Community & Location Highlights Small-town pace with easy access to outdoor recreation, including nearby lake time and hunting Local golf and open spaces, ideal if you enjoy getting outside after clinic Convenient regional access to surrounding communities within a short drive Optional housing: hospital-owned home within walking distance available at a flat rate ($500/month utilities) Reach out today to learn more about this opportunity and how it aligns with your career goals.614ebcce-2988-4a21-9a10-1fc0c5beffbb
