Physician Assistant | Gastroenterology Location: Colorado Springs, CO Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatient Gastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. No prior Gastroenterology experience is required—providers with a strong primary care or internal medicine background are encouraged to apply Position Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Lunch: 1-hour daily Patient Population: Adults (18) Patient Volume: Approximately 18–2088 patients per day Hospital Rounding: Rotation every 6 weeks Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Perform new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning. Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies. Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventive care. Participate in a rotating inpatient rounding schedule every six weeks. Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and the clinical support team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
