Job Description Job Description Seeking a motivated, compassionate Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic spine practice. This is an opportunity to develop specialized skills in spine care while working closely with a spine surgeon.
Prior orthopedic or spine experience is welcome but not required. We welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and will provide training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with neck and back conditions in collaboration with the physician.
Perform focused histories and physical examinations, review diagnostic studies, and contribute to treatment planning.
Support preoperative evaluations, postoperative visits, and ongoing follow-up care.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and recovery.
Assist with office procedures as trained and appropriate.
Assist with surgical procedures as trained and appropriate.
Complete timely, accurate documentation and coordinate care with the practice team.
Qualifications and qualities we value
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Active California PA license, or ability to obtain licensure before starting.
Strong clinical fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
A positive attitude, compassion, and clear communication.
Reliability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Initiative, receptiveness to feedback, and a collaborative approach.
Mandarin and/or Korean language skills are a plus, but are not required.
