Physician Assistant | Surgery - General/Other Location: Syracuse, NY Employer: CompHealth Pay: $127,857 to $222,472 per year Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join a well-established and growing cardiac surgery team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary professionals while playing a key role in the care of adult cardiac surgery patients. The provider will serve as a first assist in open-heart procedures and participate in the continuum of patient care, including pre-operative consultations, post-operative management in the ICU and inpatient setting, daily rounds, and admissions. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen advanced procedural and surgical skills while contributing to a respected cardiac surgery program. Qualified candidates include Physician Assistants with cardiac surgery experience or strong related clinical training, as well as Nurse Practitioners who possess RNFA certification.
