Per Diem Physician Assistant - Head and Neck Surgery
Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Head and Neck surgery team at the Leonard B. Kahn Institute for Head & Neck Cancer, located at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.
Responsibilities
Work two days per week, with additional shifts as department needs arise.
Assist in head and neck surgical cases, including pre‑operative, intra‑operative, and post‑operative care.
Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow institutional protocols.
Qualifications
Board certification or eligibility as a Physician Assistant.
Experience in head and neck surgery or willingness to receive on‑the‑job training.
Experience as an OR First Assist preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
Commitment to teamwork and open communication in a collaborative environment.
