The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant Under the direction, supervision and responsibility of a physician, and in accordance with established policies evaluates patient's health status through diagnostic procedures and tests. Provides support to surgical team through first and second assist. Provides therapeutic patient care in the outpatient and clinic areas, Pediatric Cardiac OR and procedural areas, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Progressive and Acute Care Units under direction of a physician and in accordance with established protocols.
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours)
Weekends and On Call are required
Education: Successful completion of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensure: - Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Current CPR certification required: BLS and PALs; AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
DEA and CDS required.

Salary Range:
Minimum 63.08/hour - Maximum 99.17/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
