Job description
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding aPhysician Assistant - Pulmonary / Critical Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties, including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. Today, Lincoln stands as a leader in the transformation in healthcare in the Downtown Bronx community. Opportunity Details:
Able to work evenings and weekends.
Collaborates to provide care coordination activities in providing comprehensive care (e.g., other healthcare providers, local health departments, social service, nutritionist, dentist, community-based organizations, home care and patient education groups).
Provide relevant health education and instructions, counsels patients/family responsible on the impact of illness and principles of health promotion and maintenance.
Provides clinical and didactic instruction to professional staff, peers, students and community groups and conducts in-service educational programs, as needed.
Participates in departmental meetings and interdisciplinary community committees, as well as peer review performance improvement meeting activities.
Refer to specialty services.
Completion of assigned work ques in EPIC.
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified by the NCCPA
Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $131,127* - $174,836* based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239** - $192,319**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you. Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
Pre-tax employee-paid contributions for commuting expenses.
