Physician Assistant Opportunities
Location: Bay Area, California
An established surgical practice is seeking Physician Assistants for both clinic-based and surgical first-assist opportunities.
Depending on experience and interest, candidates may support patients exclusively in the clinic or divide their time between approximately three operating room days each week and additional pre-operative and post-operative care.
Responsibilities
Complete pre-operative and post-operative visits
Educate patients about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
Monitor healing and coordinate ongoing patient care
Perform outpatient procedures within scope of practice
Work closely with surgeons, clinical staff, and the operating room team
Maintain accurate patient records
First assist during surgical procedures for candidates pursuing the surgical role
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current NCCPA certification
Active California PA license or eligibility to obtain one
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Surgical, plastic surgery, general surgery, ENT, urology, or outpatient experience preferred
Previous surgical or first-assist experience required for the operating room position
Candidates should be well-educated in gender-affirming healthcare or have a genuine desire to become knowledgeable and provide compassionate, evidence-based care in this specialty.
