Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week \ N

Position Overview \ N
Seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Physician experienced in Primary Care to provide full-time on-site healthcare services within a correctional healthcare setting. Qualified candidates must be board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.\ N
This position offers a weekday-only schedule with flexible start/end times based on facility needs. No on-call responsibilities are required.\ N
The assignment is anticipated to last at least 6 months and may transition into a long-term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.\ N
Key Responsibilities \ N
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients\ N
- Conduct medical examinations, evaluations, and clinical documentation using an electronic health record system\ N
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing\ N
- Manage medications and treatment plans\ N
- Complete patientreviews and reclassifications as needed\ N
- Refer patients for specialized care when appropriate\ N
- Collaborate withinterdisciplinary healthcare teams\ N
- Participate in peer reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives\ N
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and scope of practice guidelines\ N
Patient Volume
- Approximately up to 2.5 patients per hour\ N
Qualifications \ N
- Active Ohio Medical License\ N
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in:\ N
o Internal Medicine\ N
o Family Medicine
\ No Emergency Medicine
\ N - Primary Care experiencerequired\ N
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification\ N
- DEA Certification required prior to assignment start\ N
- Strong clinical,communication, and documentation skills\ N
