nnMulti-regional support from other Cardiology physicians from nearby Cedar Rapids market

nnExperienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community

nnFull-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access

nn24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
n
nnFully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

nResponsibilities
nnnShared call amongst the providers. Physician sees own patients for call during business hours
n
nnPractice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient; 2-4 interventions per day when in clinic
n
nnAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
n
nnTwo nearby outreach locations are visited by Physician once per month
n
nnEvaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
n
nnPatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
n
nnExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
n
n nQualifications
nnnMD or DO
n
nnBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
n
nnAbility to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
n
nnHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
n
nnEligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
n
nnJ-1 waiver sponsorship available
