Job DescriptionNon-Invasive Cardiology Opening in Pennsylvania Located in *Somerset, PA * - Pittsburgh 69mWe are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team in Somerset, PA. * Hospital employed * There are two physician assistants currently at the practice, one full-time and one part-time, with a third full-time position in process of being added due to volume increase. * An EP also sees patients at the clinic one day per week and performs procedures. * The practice runs a pacemaker clinic once weekly.* Outpatient practice uses Epic, and hospital uses Paragon Allscripts (plan to transition fully to Epic in the future). * The practice is located directly across the street from the Hospital allowing for very easy access for going between the inpatient and outpatient settings. * Non-invasive cardiologists rotate weekly between inpatient and outpatient services and are supplemented by the physician assistants. * Hospital services consist of rounding/consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs. * Medical call is divided among the non-invasive cardiologists with some supplementation by locums for weekend coverage. * Physician assistants provide some weekend rounding as well.About Somerset, PA * Home to three of the top ski resorts in the eastern U.S.* The Great Allegheny Passage, which is part of the 334-mile rails-to-trails project connecting Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., runs through Somerset County.* There are numerous cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile trails throughout the county, as well as a multitude of mountain bike trails.* There are ample opportunities for whitewater rafting, paddleboarding, and kayaking.* Somerset County is home to several golf courses, ranging from nine-hole community courses to PGA-rated resort courses.
