Job DescriptionCoxHealth is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. The physician will join a growing team currently with six interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, three Electrophysiologists, three CT Surgeons, and four vascular surgeons. Our Cardiology outpatient clinics are attached via a skywalk to Cox South Hospital.
\ NOpportunity Highlights:
\ N Cardiology is supported with 17 Cardiology APPs providing outpatient support and 24/7 inpatient coverage.
\ N This group works from the main hospital of a six-hospital system. No traveling required.
\ N Invasive Cardiologists perform over 4,700 cath lab procedures annually, including a robust structural program.
\ N This position covers their outpatient clinic and supports our extensive cardiology program, performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac imaging , including Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine.
\ N This position will assist with weekday inpatient coverage with 1:8 evening and weekend call for one hospital : Cox Medical Center South, a 706 bed, Level I STEMI Center.
\ N Optional research and teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
