JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Las Cruces, NM Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Oct - Dec Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: III EMR System: Medhost Support Staff: RNs: 1, MAs: 3, PA/NPs: 3, Office Staff: 10 REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required General Cardiology Non-invasive: Echocardiography, TEE Invasive cardiology - diagnostic only JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Licenses: Licensed in NM or IMLC Certifications: BLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient clinic setting Take generalist responsibilities Read and interpret echocardiograms Perform TEE procedures as needed Manage patient volume of approximately 15 patients per day
