Cardiology Physician Centralia, IL (Inpatient, Outpatient, Telephonic Call) Are you a dedicated cardiologist looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity in Centralia, Illinois? Quick Facts Location: Centralia, IL (400 North Pleasant Avenue, ZIP 62801) Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 (with potential extensions) Shift: Monday Friday; 8-hour days (19 00 night shift available) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS required Experience: Prior inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $278.46 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements, where applicable What You ll Do Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinics with adult patients Read EKGs and echocardiograms Supervise stress testing procedures Provide care for patients with CAD, hypertension, and heart failure Support hospital rounding and telephonic call coverage as needed Collaborate with support staff including APPs, RNs, and medical assistants Document patient interactions and test results accurately in EPIC EMR What You Need Valid Illinois medical license with cardiology certification At least 2 years of cardiology experience, including inpatient and outpatient care Ability to read EKGs and echocardiograms proficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to cover call and support a busy cardiology department About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Centralia, Illinois, providing comprehensive cardiology services to adult patients.
