JOB OVERVIEW Job ID: L-MD-97815 Profession: Physician Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Fort Smith, AR Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Call Schedule: Mon Fri, 5 days per month Call Type: In-House Call Ratio: 1:1 Call Response Time: 1 hour (in-house); under 30 minutes for Emergency/STEMI Reason for Coverage: Call coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by agency PATIENT INFORMATION Case Mix: Interventional cardiology cases, STEMI Patient Volume: 15-20 Call Volume: Average of 20-25 Others: No admissions unless STEMI all are done by hospitalist service FACILITY INFORMATION EMR: Epic Support Staff: RNs: 7, MAs: 7, PA/NPs: 6, Office Staff: 3 JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC in Interventional Cardiology Licenses: Active AR license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS Clean record Clean NPDB report Duties & Responsibilities Provide interventional cardiology coverage for inpatient consults and procedures. Manage STEMI and emergency cardiology cases with rapid response. Perform interventional procedures as required.
