JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE within 3-5 yrs post residency
Licenses: Active California License
DEA
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum of a few years of experience in interventional cardiology; new graduates not considered.
At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
Active Fluoro certification, NUC reading ability
Current number of case logs
Duties & Responsibilities Provide interventional cardiology coverage on a call-only basis, including 24-hour beeper call.
Manage inpatient interventional cardiology cases and respond to emergency consults.
Perform nuclear cardiology reading and NUC activity as needed.
Deliver both interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology care.
Maintain active fluoro certification and respond to calls within 20 minutes.
