Interventional Cardiology Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Schedule: ASAP – Ongoing
Job Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Types of Cases: Interventional Cardiology; assist with call and read echos; 10-15 patients per shift; call patients seen: 15-20; call admissions: 5-10; phone consults: 15
Call Details: Beeper call covering both inpatient and outpatient; call ratio 1:4; call response time: 30 minutes; call back rate: 5%
EMR System: Medhost
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Licensure: Must be licensed in New Mexico (NM) only; IMLC not accepted
Fellowship: Required
Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 5 days; temporary privileges available
