Are you an interventional cardiologist seeking a short-term locum tenens assignment in Kansas? Assignment Overview Location: Kansas (near Blue Mound) Duration: January 8, 2025, to January 13, 2025 (additional opportunities expected throughout 2025) Shift Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call duties Setting: Outpatient focus (no inpatient work required) Electronic Medical Records: Epic system in use Position Requirements Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Board Certification: Required; must be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology Licensure: Kansas license or IMLC eligibility Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days (expedited credentialing may be available for qualified candidates) Job Highlights Purpose of Coverage: Temporary assignment to cover vacation leave Call Details: Beeper call with a 15-minute response time Patients Per Shift: None; specific assigned patient care tasks to be discussed Support Staff Provided: Includes 1 RN and 1 Medical Assistant for assistance Hospital Privileges: Not required; this is an outpatient role Facility Stroke Certification: Yes Benefits of This Role Flexible Schedule: Short-term commitment with potential for future dates in 2025 Travel & Lodging: Vendor-supported travel and lodging accommodations Insurance Coverage: Provided by the vendor Why Consider This Opportunity?
