JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Call Type: Beeper Call Ratio: 1/4 Call Response Time: 30 minutes Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15-20 Admissions: 5-10 Phone Consults: 7-10 FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: III EMR System: Medhost Support Staff: MAs: 1, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 7 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Eligible Licenses: Licensed in NM Certifications: BLS, ACLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide call coverage for interventional cardiology services Read and interpret echocardiograms Manage inpatient cardiology consults Provide on-call coverage as needed Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists
