Job description
A healthcare facility near Lykens, Pennsylvania is seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist for a short-term assignment. This opportunity offers a chance to provide specialized care while enjoying the charm of central Pennsylvania.
Assignment Details Dates : June 4, 2025 (8:00 AM) - June 10, 2025 (8:00 AM)
Schedule :On-call coverage for STEMIs
Cath lab procedure and rounding support
Practice Setting : Inpatient only
Call Type : Beeper with a required response time of 30 minutes
Patients Per Shift : Varies
Bed Count in Department : 12
Requirements Board Certification : Required in Interventional Cardiology
Licensure : Must hold a Pennsylvania medical license
Certifications :ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Fellowship Training : Preferred
Additional Details EMR System : Epic
Admissions : Required
Privileges : Temporary privileges are not available; estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days.
Support & Resources Collaboration with a skilled team, including RNs and one PA/NP.
No resident or teaching supervision required.
Insurance provided by the vendor.
