Locum Tenens Opportunity: Interventional Cardiology Physician Near Kyle, TX We are actively seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens assignment near Kyle, TX. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cardiologist to provide critical care in an inpatient setting. The position involves call coverage and is ideal for those looking for short-term assignments with the potential for ongoing work.

Work Details: Practice Setting : Inpatient
Call Coverage :On-call responsibilities for critical interventional cardiology cases
24/7 availability during the coverage period
Patient Load : Approximately 15 patients per shift
Hospital Details :Stroke-certified hospital with over 200 beds
Assigned patient rounding
EMR System : Cerner
Requirements: Board Certification : Must be Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
State License : Active Texas medical license required
Certifications : ACLS certification required
Experience : Proven experience in an inpatient interventional cardiology setting preferred
Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 30 days
Additional Information: Temporary Privileges : Available for qualified candidates
Hospital Privileges : No separate hospital or surgery center privileges required
Holidays : Coverage may include major holidays such as New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Onboarding : Comprehensive orientation provided, with full support from the medical team to ensure a smooth transition into the role
