This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is available to provide coverage for an extended period, offering a well-structured schedule and comprehensive support. Position Highlights: Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Practice Setting: Inpatient EMR System: Athena & Meditech Shift Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily Cath Lab: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Clinic: 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Dates Needed: September September 30 October 4 October November 4 8 November November December 2 6 December 9 13 December Practice Details: Patients Per Shift: 4-5 Rounding: Assigned Patients License Requirement: Licensed in VA Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days Temporary Privileges: Available Hospital Stroke Certification: Yes Required Certifications: ACLS: Required BLS: Not required PALS: Not required ABLS: Not required ATLS: Not required Description/Other Details: The position involves working primarily in the Cath Lab and seeing consults on the units. The schedule includes: Orientation: First day only Cath Lab Work: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Clinic Hours: 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Procedures and Equipment Used: GE Cath Unit IVUS Balloon Pump TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) Stress Echo Thoracic Echo Nuclear Medicine Stress Please note that the position involves no call and focuses on working within the cardiac cath lab and consulting with patients in the clinic.
