Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in Idaho Falls, IDOverview: Specialty: Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Department: Cardio Thoracic Surgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Unspecified Allowed Holidays: Memorial Day Christmas Day Thanksgiving Day 4th of July New Year's Day Christmas Eve Labor Day Day after Thanksgiving Providers Requested: 1 PA Provider Type: Advanced Practice Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System: Epic Practice Setting: Inpatient Is Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required? No Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges? No Admissions Required? Yes Are temporary privileges available? No Is Hospital Stroke Certified? Yes Patients Per Shift: 5-8 Bed In Department: 13 Rounding: BothPractice Details: Regular Hours: 7a - 5p On-Call Hours: 5p - 7a 24-hour weekend call if needed Emergency privileges available Rotating schedule: 2 providers rotating weeks One week on/off, two weeks on/off Heart Program (100 cases a year): CABG, AVR, MVR, Mitral Clip, TAVR Vascular Program (100-130 cases a year): AAA Stent, Thoracic, Carotid Endarterectomy, Fem and Artery Bypass, Fistula Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic pre-op and post-op appointments Surgical assist in Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular procedures Inpatient rounding Rotating callQualifications: Board Certification: Certified Fellowship: Preferred Minimum Board Certification: Certified License Requirement: Active license in ID (IMLC accepted) Certifications Required: ATLS: Yes ACLS: No BLS: No PALS: NoCredentialing: Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 daysJob ID: J- Why Consider This Opportunity?This is an exciting locum tenens opportunity for a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
