Job description
Full-time cardiologist position in southern Georgia Guaranteed salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus equal to 100% of practice profits Robust team with support from two board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners; practice walking distance to hospital Clinic Monday"Friday, 8 a.m."5 p.m. Call required 7 days per month, with additional compensation for extra call Opportunity to precept medical students and residents in an active teaching environment Modern medical education center with simulation labs Open to both non-invasive and invasive general cardiologists Broad diagnostic and procedural cardiology services, including: Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Holter monitoring Echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) Cardiac catheterization Pacemaker and ICD insertion Loop recorder placement and cardioversion Stress testing Cardiac CT and cardiac MRI Carotid studies Advanced cardiology equipment: Stress testing: GE Myospect Nuclear Camera, Quinton Q Stress/Treadmill systems Cath/IR: GE Optima CL323i Cath/IR lab, GE Mac Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System Echo: GE Vivid E95 with TEE 4D probe, Philips Epic 7 with TEE probe Physicians lounge with provided meals, 24-hour employee gym Generous student loan repayment assistance available Paid health insurance provided in exchange for precepting residents and medical students Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage Optional participation in a supplemental benefits package for W?2 hospital employees, including retirement match Paid house-hunting and relocation assistance, plus monthly cell phone allowance CME allowance with dedicated CME paid time off Annual paid time off plus holidays Possible stipend for remainder of training or sign-on bonus Welcoming small city in southern Georgia with a warm climate and a strong sense of community, offering a relaxed pace of life and low cost of living
