Job DescriptionPermanent Opportunity – Non-Invasive Cardiology Location: Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan
Position Overview\ NA full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) is needed to join a growing cardiovascular team serving communities along the West Michigan lakeshore. The physician will work within a collaborative regional cardiovascular network delivering comprehensive cardiac care across outpatient clinics and hospital settings.

\ N Clinical Responsibilities\ N Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations
\ N Diagnose and manage:
\ N Cardiomyopathy
\ N Coronary artery disease (CAD)
\ N Arrhythmias
\ N Valvular heart disease
\ N Congestive heart failure
\ N
Develop individualized treatment plans
\ N Participate in Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
\ N Manage patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors
\ N Perform pre-surgical cardiac evaluations
\ N Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including:
\ N Echocardiography
\ N Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
\ N
Provide inpatient cardiology consultations
\ N Collaborate with APPs, nurses, and clinical staff
\ N Assist with management and remote monitoring of:
\ N Pacemakers
\ N Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
\ N
Cardiovascular Network Collaboration\ NThe role participates in the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan , a partnership.The program supports a comprehensive cardiovascular service line including:
\ N Interventional cardiology
\ N Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)
\ N Electrophysiology
\ N Cardiothoracic surgery
\ N Procedures CollaboratedWith\ NThe physician will collaborate with specialists performing:
\ N Cardiac catheterization
\ N Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
\ N Electrical cardioversion
\ N Pacemaker and ICDimplantation
\ N Structural heart procedures
\ N Credentialing Requirements\ NBoard Certification
\ N Board Certified in Cardiology or
\ N Board Eligible with certification required within 2 years
\ N Important Note
\ N Candidates with lapsed board certification are not accepted
\ N Licensure
\ N Ability to obtain or hold an active Michigan medical license
\ N Candidate Experience \ N Open to new graduates
