Clinical Practice ManagerThe Clinical Practice Manager (CPM) will provide management and leadership of interdisciplinary patient care services within the Primary Care setting. The CPM will be responsible with the Nurse Manager for the daily operations of the assigned practice group. The incumbent will be the first-line supervisor for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants within that practice group. Each CPM will be a member of the Primary Care Clinical Board. As a member of the Clinical Board the CPM will be responsible for assigned clinical leadership duties. Functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for working with the Primary Care Division and other Divisions within the Medical Center to achieve quality care standards and productivity targets.Leads process improvement activities and work to achieve patient satisfaction goals, access to care standards, and clinical performance targets.Assures that the policies, practices, and services within that group practice are consistent with the mission and vision of the Primary Care Division, the VA Portland Health Care System, the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 20 - VA Northwest Health Network, and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Central Office.Works with other divisions within the medical center to achieve compliance with internal and external regulatory and accreditation standards, such as Joint Commission and OSHA.Responsible for providing primary care services to a defined panel of patients.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 07:30-4:00pst, 8:00-4:30pst
