OB-GYN Physician Fort Carson, Colorado Medical Specialist Opportunity

Shift: Days, Monday-Friday with on-call requirements (40 hours/week)
Licensure/Certs: Unrestricted U.S. medical license, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications from AHA
Experience: At least 2 years in OB/GYN within last 6 years or 1 year hospital staff experience within last 6 years
Pay Rate: $145.00/hour

What You ll Do
Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the reproductive and genitourinary systems
Perform obstetric procedures like vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Conduct routine exams, ultrasounds, pap smears, and IUD placements
Perform gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies and laparoscopic procedures
Provide prenatal and antenatal care, monitor abnormal pap smears
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans
Participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
What You Need
Required:
Doctorate from an accredited medical school (MD or DO)
Unrestricted U.S. medical license
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent
Current ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
2+ years of OB/GYN experience within the last 6 years or 1+ year hospital staff experience
Preferred:
Experience with obstetric and gynecological surgeries
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond promptly during on-call duties
