Job description
A 49-bed level III trauma center in scenic southern Colorado just a few hours south of Denver is seeking a Bread and Butter General Surgeon. The organization serves a community of more than 50,000 in a bustling community that provides the kind of Colorado lifestyle people dream about. The area is surrounded by mountains, offering unbeatable outdoor recreation opportunities.Bread and Butter general surgery, limited pediatric patients, some comfort with trauma and advanced lap, no vascular or bariatric, upper and lower GI endoscopy is a must Hospital employed, .75 - 1 FTE. Outpatient clinic attached to a 49-bed hospital level III trauma center, with 6-bed ICU. Inpatient 25% /Outpatient 75%. Not to exceed 1:3 call. Competitive compensation. Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement. 15-20 patients per day in clinic. Loan repayment assistance. Generous benifits package. Must be comfortable with pediatrics, some trauma, advanced laparoscopy and upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
