Job Summary and Responsibilities

nAs our Physician Contract Specialist Senior, you will manage our system-wide physician contracting infrastructure, acting as the primary liaison between hospital leadership, corporate legal teams, and physician groups to ensure all agreements are executed with precision and compliance.

nEvery day you will receive and process internal physician contract requests, facilitate drafting with the Legal Department, and maintain the integrity of contract workflows using our management systems. You will serve as the subject matter expert, monitoring renewal schedules, preparing status reports for leadership, and participating in strategic deal-team meetings to support business development objectives.

nTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of physician compensation models and regulatory frameworks, and the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven tasks with professional confidentiality.

nJob Requirements

nRequired

nnn5+ years of experience in healthcare or contracting field.

n

nnFamiliarity with healthcare, operational, and legal processes, particularly in the area of physician contracting.

n

nnDetail oriented with capability to prioritize and organize high volumes of tasks.

n

nnQuick learner able to communicate effectively with all position levels.

n

nnExcellent computer and web-based application skills.

n

nnFamiliarity with various compensation models related to physicians.

n

nnGood knowledge of physician practice and hospital operations.

n

nnUnderstands federal and state laws and regulation regarding Stark Law, Anti-Kickback statue, fraud and abuse, and tax-exemption.

n

nnAbility to meet very aggressive deadlines and must have solid analytical skills.

nnDemonstrates leadership presence and maintains confidentiality.

n

nnBachelor Degree (10 years of contracting experience in lieu of bachelor's degree)
