JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Critical Care Pediatric Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Flagstaff, AZ Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Oct 26, 2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Rounds in the morning (Days) On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents (0-18 yrs) Patient Volume/Census: 7-15 patients per day Case Mix: Pediatric ICU, General Pediatrics FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active AZ license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics DEA: Yes Certifications: BLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 5 years of PICU experience DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for Pediatric ICU Perform rounds in the morning Manage patients aged 0-18 years in PICU and pediatrics Collaborate with NPs available during day and evening Ensure proper coding and documentation
