Job description
Were seeking an experienced general dentist to provide essential dental care to adult patients at a secure state-run correctional facility in North Carolina. This is a locum tenens position offering a consistent schedule and the opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment with a dedicated support team.The ideal candidate is confident in their clinical skills, comfortable working independently, and has experience in correctional, public health, or government-supported clinical settings.Responsibilities:Perform routine dental exams, diagnosis, and treatment planningProvide emergency dental care as neededEducate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive careSupervise and collaborate with dental auxiliariesMaintain thorough, accurate, and compliant patient recordsCoordinate care and make appropriate referrals for complex casesEnsure all care adheres to state policy and facility procedures
