Interested candidates must be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and must have at least 5 years experience in all aspects of medical management of lung transplant patients (participate in the management and selection of patients prior to transplantation, and participate in the management both peri- and post-lung transplantation). The Ochsner Multi-Organ Transplant Center is the Gulf South’s leading center, performing more transplants per year than any other facility in the region. Ochsner is the only lung transplant program in Louisiana and remains one of the nation's most active lung transplant programs. Our program has averaged 27 transplants per year over the last three years. Since it opened in 1991 it has performed more than 300 lung transplants.Ochsner Health is Louisiana’s largest non-profit, academic, healthcare system.
