Job description
Overview
Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology position with appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. Location: Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities
Lead the Pediatric Cardiology Program at the expanding Children’s Heart Center.
Provide excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Manage clinical duties and balance responsibilities for all pediatric cardiologists.
Lead collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgery program.
Head the state-wide community outreach clinic program.
Mentor younger faculty members on quality improvement and research efforts.
Oversee the educational program for students, residents, and other learners.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license.
Completed pediatrics residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship.
Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
