Position Overview Join residency-trained, board-certified EM physicians in region's only Level II Trauma Center. High-volume ED (60K+ visits/year, 150-200 daily) expanding from 32 to 66 beds. Practice Highlights High-acuity Level II Trauma with fast track (mid-level staffed) Zone model: Physician + APP + RN per zone 14 shifts/month (9-10 hr); 7-day block off monthly Dedicated Nocturnist schedule (5p-3a) Teach residents/medical students Compensation & Benefits Productivity bonus $100K signing bonus Student loan repayment (PSLF eligible) Comprehensive benefits; paid malpractice/tail Paid interview expenses Facility Highlights 420-bed tertiary referral center serving 600K+ 22 ORs, 56 ICU beds, advanced imaging/cardio labs Level II Trauma, comprehensive stroke center Robust IM Hospitalist support; UAB Cancer affiliate ACOM med school + IM/Transitional residencies Community small city for doctors; 7th largest in AL Low COL (92.8 index), 66F avg temp Dothan Regional Airport (Delta); RTJ golf, trails, parks
