Emergency Medicine Physician (Locums)Near Chapin, ILASAP - OngoingJob ID: j- We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity at our facility near Chapin, Illinois. This is a full-time position with a variety of shift options, offering competitive compensation and the chance to work in a fast-paced environment.Job Overview: Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages. Manage a high volume of patients in a busy emergency department setting. Perform a variety of emergency procedures as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.Schedule Details: 12-hour shifts, rotating between day (8am-8pm) and night (8pm-8am) shifts. Weekend rotation required. No on-call responsibilities.Facility Information: Approximately 14,664 annual patient volume with an average of 40 patients per day. 10-bed emergency department. 7% admission rate. 12 hours of advanced practice provider coverage daily. Designated stroke center.Requirements: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with at least two years of experience. Active or ability to obtain Illinois medical license. ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required.
