\ N Emergency Department\ N ED Volume: 11,000
\ N EMR: Epic
\ N Staffing Model:\ N 24 hours of Physician coverage (for average of 30 patients per day);
increases to 26 hours during higher volume months

Full-service, Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
\ N Open 24/7 to treat conditions requiring immediate care
\ N CT and X-ray 24/7
MRI and US during business hours
\ N 24/7 RT coverage
24/7 transfer coordinators and Psychiatric Evaluation Services
\ N 12hr/day, 7 days/week case management
\ N Coverage includes all UM Shore locations (Easton, Cambridge, and Queenstown)
