\ N Temporary privileges available
### Assignment Details \ N Location: Portage, Wisconsin
\ N Initial Coverage Dates: November 25–27, 2026
\ N Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
\ N Future Need: Ongoing coverage is expected in 2027;
additional dates are not yet confirmed
\ N Setting: Combined emergency department and urgent care
\ N Call: None
\ N EMR: Epic
\ N Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
\ N Temporary Privileges: Available
### Requirements \ N Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician
\ N Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC eligibility
\ N Active ACLS and ATLS certifications
\ N Availability for the complete November 25–27 coverage block
### Clinical Details \ N Approximately 20 patients per shift
\ N Approximately 40–60 patients across each 24-hour period
\ N 13-bed department
Level IV trauma environment
\ N Physician works alongside two APPs during day and evening coverage
\ N Support includes:
- 4 RNs - 1 Medical Assistant - 2 APPs - 1 office staff member\ N General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Hospitalist support
\ N Telestroke and tele-ICUservices
\ N Medical helicopter onsite
\ N No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
