Job Details:

\ N Provide emergency medicine coverage at regional hospitals in the Northwoods of Wisconsin

\ N

Mostly single coverage with some shift overlap

\ N

Double coverageavailable with two APCs

\ N

Admission rate is approximately 20%

\ N

Over 20 shifts per month available with flexible scheduling for locum providers

\ N

Patient encounters per shift: 17-23

\ N

Two smaller critical access hospitals located within thirty minutes

\ N

Board certification required;

minimum certification level: certified

\ N

Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

\ N

Trauma Level 4 facility

\ N

24-hour supportservices available include: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology

\ N

L&D department on site;

newborn deliveries are not received in the ED

\ N

Local and Midwest-based providers strongly preferred
