Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
* Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
* Will consider Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with current Emergency Medicine experience
* 12-Bed Emergency Department with CT, X-ray, and Lab on site
* 24-hour physician coverage required with solo coverage
* Average census of 30 patients with no APP coverage
* Ultrasound capabilities available (requires transfer)
* Consultants available including cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and nephrology
* EMR: Meditech
Facility:
This facility is a 65-bed general, acute care hospital offering a full range of medical services with the exception of Obstetrics. The facility features a physician-staffed 24-hour emergency department, EEG/EKG capabilities, a GE Light Speed 16-slice CT scanner, GE Senographe DS Digital Mammography, a stereotactic breast biopsy machine, an intensive care and coronary care unit, nuclear medicine, open MRI, and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center.
