Emergency Medicine PhysicianLakewood Health System - Staples, Minnesota
Join a high-performing rural healthcare team in the heart of Central Minnesota. Lakewood Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician to provide exceptional emergency care in our Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician who values autonomy, meaningful patient relationships, and an exceptional work-life balance while practicing broad-spectrum emergency medicine in a supportive rural setting. Position Highlights
* Rural Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department
* Level III Trama Center
* Approximately 9,000 annual ED visits
* Primarily night-shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM
* 8-10 shifts per month
* One weekend per month required
* Broad scope emergency medicine practice
* Collaborative and supportive clinical environment
* Modern facilities with strong specialty support and transfer relationships
* Supported by an APP during higher volume times of the day and weekends
Qualifications
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
* Emergency Medicine, or
* Family Medicine
* Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
* Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
* Commitment to patient-centered rural healthcare

Teaching Opportunities
