We are seeking 2-3 Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-volume inpatient facility in California. Position Details:Start Date: April 1, 2025Duration: OngoingSetting: Inpatient Emergency DepartmentPatient Volume: Average 110 patients per 24-hour shiftShifts: Various night and day shifts available from April to June (subject to credentialing)Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 daysEMR System: EpicLicensure Requirement: Active California medical licenseBoard Certification: ABEM/ABEOM certified or eligible within five years of residencyWork Conditions & Requirements:Call Responsibilities: NoneSupervision: Required for Advanced Practice ProvidersOvertime: Paid after 12 hours (pre-approval required)Guaranteed Hours: 8 per shiftHospital Privileges: Not requiredTemporary Privileges: Not available24/7 On-Site Support Services Include:Anesthesia, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Cath Lab, General SurgeryLaboratory, Neuro-Surgery, OR Response, Orthopedic SurgeryRadiology, Vascular Surgery
