Hospital Privileges Required: YesJOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, AOBEM, AOBFM, AOBIM) Licenses: Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license and DEA registration with Mississippi address DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Mississippi address required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), ATLS, PALS, BLS (unless EM boarded) Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience Other Qualifications: Current CV, case logs, CME documentation for past 2 years, immunization recordsDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide coverage for emergency department shifts (12-hour day or night shifts) as scheduled. Evaluate and manage patients presenting with acute medical conditions and emergencies. Collaborate with hospitalist team and other specialists as needed. Ensure compliance with all credentialing, licensing, and hospital requirements. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
