Description:This position is to fill open full-time emergency medicine physician positions.The need is urgent, with an ASAP start date.The schedule is a rotational format with no call requirements.The site medical director will approve timesheets weekly.Expectations for orientation include a two-day shadowing experience.Emergency privileges may be available depending on the applicant's background.Case logs are required, with specifics to be determined.The facility has 159 beds and an average daily billable encounter of 113.The average number of daily admissions is approximately 17.Consults are available, although the exact number is unknown.The patient population served is significant, with annual ER admissions around 3942.The facility is accredited as a chest pain center and stroke center, but it is not a trauma center.The acuity of the cases seen is average.Support staff includes nurses and technicians.Standard emergency medicine procedures are required for this role.The average patient census is 108 per shift.Typically, 1-2 emergency medicine physicians will be present along with advanced practice providers during each shift.Locums are not called back on-site as there is no on-call duty.
