Job description
Emergency Medicine position available in small-town, eastern Illinois located near INT 57 and INT 70, providing easy access to St. Louis, Indianapolis and Chicago. Work directly for the hospital, not under a corporate contract model. $460,000 salary, 15-10hr shifts/month with no nights. 42,000 visits/year, averaging less than 1.7 patients/hour. 10 hour day and evening shifts - no overnights. Recently renovated and optimized 32 room ER. 140+ bed community hospital with around 200 providers. Hospitalists do their own admissions for adults and pediatrics. Not a trauma facility - no heads, no open hearts. $75,000 sign on bonus. Located two hours from Indy or St. Louis and three hours from Chicago. Amtrak Train System provides easy Access to Chicago and New Orleans. 15 ten-house shifts per month is full-time with a dedicated team covering the overnight shift. 403b with 50% match, amazing additional plan that is all hospital money (5% of base for years 1-5, increases to 10% after vesting after year 5). This position requires EM residency training. 42,000 annual volume, patients per hour is 1.4-1.7. $100,000 retention bonus.
