JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) or Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery (ABFM, ABIM, ABPS accepted case-by-case)
Licenses: Active Kentucky state license and Kentucky DEA required
DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Kentucky address required
Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
Experience: Must have completed a 12-month internship and at least 5 years of Emergency Medicine experience, or be enrolled in an approved residency program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
Manage acute medical and trauma cases, including resuscitation and stabilization.
Perform emergency procedures as required (e.g., laceration repair, splinting, intubation).
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
Document patient encounters and medical decisions accurately in T-sheets EMR.
