Permanent Emergency Medicine Position near Maple Mount, KY Overview: Explore a rewarding permanent opportunity for Emergency Medicine Physicians in Western Kentucky, near Maple Mount, KY. This facility is open to FM/IM trained physicians with EM experience. With a very low volume of patients, physicians have the flexibility to work 24-hour shifts, providing ample time for rest and relaxation. Position Details: ED Volume: The emergency department sees approximately 7,000 patients annually, ensuring a manageable workload for physicians. Average Daily Volume: Physicians can expect an average daily volume of 20 patients, allowing for personalized patient care and attention. Shift Options: Physicians have the option to work either 24-hour shifts or 12-hour shifts, providing flexibility to accommodate individual preferences and schedules. EMR: The facility utilizes the Thrive electronic medical record (EMR) system, streamlining documentation and enhancing efficiency. Facility Size: The emergency department comprises 10 beds, ensuring adequate resources to provide quality care to patients. Qualifications: Board Certification: Physicians must be certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) with ED experience. Acceptance of FM/IM Physicians: The facility is open to FM/IM trained physicians with EM experience, expanding the pool of qualified candidates. Compensation and Benefits: Independent Contractor: All permanent physicians are 1099 independent contractors, offering flexibility and autonomy in their practice.
