JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD- Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: La Grange, KY Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 23, 2026 May 24, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Nights Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredPATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 14,000 annuallyFACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 14 EMR System: Epic with Dax Copilot Specialty Backup Available: All subspecialties except FERN, ophthalmology, ENT, PEDs, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and DialysisPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Kentucky Medical License Board: Board Certified ABEM or AOBEM DEA: Kentucky DEA Experience: 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experienceDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency medicine coverage for 24-hour physician coverage Supervise APC coverage for 8 hours, 6 days per week Manage annual patient volume of 14,000 in a 14-bed ED Utilize Epic with Dax Copilot for documentation Collaborate with subspecialty backup services
