JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Licenses: Active Louisiana License
DEA / CDS: Active LA DEA and CDS
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (required for FM/IM; likely for all)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency medicine care at a 5-bed ED in a critical access hospital
Manage patient flow and treatment for approximately 19,000 annual visits
Stabilize and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries
Utilize EPIC EMR for comprehensive clinical documentation
Collaborate with available CT, MRI, Ultrasound, ICU, and other specialty services
