JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Kaplan, LA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 08/16/2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible Schedule PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: 6,800 annual ED visits Admissions: Yes Case Mix: Emergency Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 20 hospital beds and 6 ED beds Trauma Level: Level 4 Acuity EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Physical Therapy, Rehab Unit, Psychiatric Unit PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days Case Logs Required: Previous 2 years CME Documentation Required: Previous 2 years Immunization Requirements: Current Flu and TB compliance required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rates: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
